Ian 'Big Mac' McDonald
A very good friend of Baz, Ian 'Big Mac' McDonald passed away in January this year and ROBOT ELVIS will be part of a special show to be staged in honour of the big man up in his native Northeast. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the British Heart Foundation. Tickets will be a very moderately priced £5.00. Bands appearing are:

Lots of other things will be happening on the night and there will be a few musical guests to keep things lively, though with the above-mentioned bands things should be lively enough!!
Baz said:
"Mac was a big guy physically and also a huge local music fan attending gigs at the Smugglers in Sunderland every week and could always be seen at the end of the bar nursing a cold Stella and shouting encouragement...he'll be hugely missed and we want to do our bit for him."
